Europe has the expertise and skills to promote a more responsible digital sector (frugality, regulation, ethics) that creates high-quality jobs. However, mastery of data is just as crucial as mastery of materials and energy when it comes to the operability and sustainability of disruptive digital components and integrated circuits. In 2026, the symposium will take place in Grenoble Scientific Polygon on December 14 and 15. To broaden its European reach, the symposium will be held in English, after 2024 & 2025 editon in French.

[Webinare & on site]: A day of tutorials on tools and techniques for managing the environmental and societal impact of electronic and digital technologies. Firstly dedicated to R&D managers or project leaders in companies looking for good ‘suppliers’ of services and tools to help them tackle eco-innovation in the fields of semiconductors, electronics, systems and digital technology in general, the tutorial day is open to students and other professionals from academic and industry business.

[Symposium @Grenoble, France]: A day of scientific and academics presentation of brand new results in the field of methods and tools for action and decision for sustainable value chains in information technologies. Dedicated to all professionals from business to research, the symposium will Focus on technologies for frugal, intelligent, and safe systems to serve French and European competitiveness. This could address future challenges as broad as intensive computing farms, artificial intelligence, mental & physical health, non-fake information transparency and democratization, energy, cities, measurement, or data and image display.
